I think that's what these are called - you send a stuffed animal home with a notebook in a bag, and the child (or parents) write about what they did, then send it back to school for the next student. Anyway, I'd like to do this next year. I never have before, because my students had a hard time bringing things back to school, but I really want to give it a shot. Does anyone have a good introductory note that explains the activity in a simple way? We have a very large ELL population, the simpler the better. I'll do it myself, of course, if no one has one, but I thought it might be nice to not have to "reinvent the wheel". THANKS!
